Underwriter guarantees/Credit Analyst

DUTIES

Responsible for marketing and selling the Corporation’s Pre-shipment and Post-shipment Export Finance Guarantee, Finance Guarantees and other products to the financial sector.

Maintaining constant and building relationships with the lending officials of banks and micro finance institutions.

Procuring new business-appraisal, analysis and approving guarantee proposals within limits delegated and recommending for approval higher limits.

Administering the approved guarantees through reconciling monthly declarations and collection of premium payments and liaising with Accounts

Maintenance of records such as the guarantee register and other registers.

Assisting in the product design and development and the assessment of market conditions

Will assist Head of Operations in assessing and monitoring business performance, market conditions and underwriting commitments.

Qualifications

3 years in financial services

Experience in credit vetting an added advantage

must have procurement knowledge and be able to assess business performance  

Must be able to communicate well at business level
