Duties and Responsibilities Prepares, schedules, coordinates, monitors and controls all assigned projects. Coordinates the development of project management plans. Tracks and communicates project opportunities and risks especially time, cost and scope creeps. Develops, updates and maintains a projects risk register. Generates project progress reports. Organises project team, stakeholder meetings, records and circulates minutes. Reviews project tasks and initiates necessary corrective action – Advises on possible changes/modifications. Logs in inspection reports. Generates and maintains a projects lessons learnt register. Creates frameworks for measuring project metrics and data collection. Reviews material requirements Initiates project quality control tasks Ensures compliance with specifications, applicable codes standards, policies and best practices. Monitors compliance to occupational Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) standards at project sites. Applies relevant technical engineering expertise to ensure compliance to all technical standards. Qualifications and Experience A minimum of Bachelor of Technology/Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering is a prerequisite. Post Graduate Diploma in Projects Management (PPM) qualification is a prerequisite Certificate and proficiency in design soft wares such as AutoCAD, ProEng, Solid works etc. A Diploma in Management is an added advantage A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in medium to large scale projects. Knowledge of Engineering projects planning, execution, monitoring and controlling.
