Chief Projects Officer

Industrial Psychology Consultants (Pvt) Ltd has been retained by National Building Society to recruit a Chief Projects Officer. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above position.

Overall Job Purpose

The Chief Projects Officer is responsible for ensuring successful implementation of housing projects from conception to delivery of housing units.

Duties

• Responsible for identification of viable housing development opportunities, with duties which include, inter-a-lia;
• Identifications of housing development partners,
• Identification of suitable land for housing development
• Liaises with all stakeholders to include, construction partners, expert consultants, professional bodies, regulatory authorities, local government authorities, government authorities and ministries, property sales partners
• Oversees the financial structuring of housing projects, ensuring the cost of funds and delivery of projects returns positive returns.
• Carries out market research for project viability in terms of a cost-benefit analysis and advises Management before implementation.

Requirements

• MBA from a reputable accredited institution plus a relevant commercial discipline, engineering, or project management undergraduate degree;
• Project Management Certification or equivalent certificate a must.
• A minimum of 10 years executive leadership of commercial construction/ infrastructure development projects experience.
• Demonstrable entrepreneurial business acumen
