Role Description
The incumbent will be responsible for implementation of non technical and leadership training plans in line with organisational business plans and objectives.
Main duties
The incumbent will be responsible for
- Day to day management and administration of the Skills Development Centre
- Implementation of leadership and non technical training plans including the coordination of trainee programmes for Cadets Graduate Learners and Learner Miners
- The implementation of the Business Management System
- The initiation and design of leadership development training programmes to cater for the changing business needs of the organization including training of Team Leaders Supervisory and Managerial staff
- The full implementation and use of the SAP HRD Module
- Companywide induction and reinduction programmes for employees and contractors
Qualifications and experience
- Degree in Human Resources or Social Science a must
- IPMZ Training Diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years working experience in leadership and supervisory training of which 3 years must be at managerial level i.e. Senior Training Officer/Chief Training Officer or former lecturers with private sector experience in supervisory and leadership training
- Experience in course design and delivery of leadership and supervisory courses is a requirement
- The candidate will spend 70% of his/her time in class, training non-technical courses and supervisory/leadership courses
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- High level of computer literacy and exceptional organizing skills
