Treasury Dealer

MAIN DUTIES

• Pricing and costing of treasury and bank products and services in line with market conditions.
• Generating income in line with set targets
• Mobilising deposits from new and existing clients and effectively invests in various treasury products.
• Investment of short term cash surpluses in money market instruments and making investment recommendations to the Head of Treasury.
• Managing tenders and trading treasury financial instruments such as treasury bills and treasury bonds.
• Providing market intelligence and indicators for treasury and the bank strategy formulation process.
• Ensure regulatory/compliance with dealers code of conduct at all times

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Banking and Finance /any other business related field
• IOBZ qualification and ACI Treasury Certificate is an added advantage
• At least Two (2) years’ experience in Treasury Money and Forex Dealing
