Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li>Develops and implements risk policies and procedures that align with the organization’s goals and objectives</li><li>Develops and updates checklists &amp; registers to identify, measure, monitor and control&nbsp;risk exposures.</li><li>Consult with relevant departments to determine, quantify, and mitigate risks .</li><li>Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management strategies adopted by various departments and making&nbsp;recommendations thereon.</li><li>Responsible for assessing metrics monitoring and reporting on the risk exposure and performance of the organization</li><li>Proactively seek and recommend enhancements to processes and internal control systems.</li><li>Monitors and identifies risks that affect TIMB reputation, goals and objectives and recommending risk reduction strategies</li><li>Carries out dip stick assessments in all departments in preparation for Audit/ Regulatory inspections</li><li>Analyses internal audit, fraud &amp; loss reports and incident reports to establish trends and recommend initiatives to mitigate risks identified.</li><li>Compiles risk reports on both internal and external developments and submits to the CEO.</li><li>Leads risk management processes involved in the development of new products and services, systems and processes.</li><li>Updates and consolidates the risk register / database and shares with management.</li><li>Investigates root causes of operational risk and provide support to mitigate risk.</li><li>Follow up on all issues raised by both internal and external auditors and ensure timely closure.</li><li>Develops initiatives that foster capacity building of Management and the Board on Enterprise Risk Management.</li></ul> Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li class="ql-align-justify">A Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management/ Risk Management &amp; Insurance.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Certification to a professional body on risk management is an added advantage.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Must be a member of a professional body.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.</li></ul>
