Responsibilities:&nbsp;·&nbsp;Oversee daily operations of the Plant and Equipment&nbsp;workshop.·&nbsp;Managing the Plant and Equipment personnel assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.·&nbsp;Overseeing equipment, tools, and materials, ensuring proper plant and equipment maintenance and availability.·&nbsp;Implementing and maintaining quality standards for all repairs and services.·&nbsp;Budgeting, cost analysis and control, and inventory management.·&nbsp;Liaison with stores and procurement&nbsp;departments&nbsp;to ensure supply chain is maintained.·&nbsp;&nbsp;Communication with project sites to ensure plant and equipment requirements are met.·&nbsp;Providing plant and equipment maintenance management support across all project sites to ensure the required level of availability.·&nbsp;Implementing and enforcing safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.·&nbsp;Keeping up with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.·&nbsp;Addressing technical challenges and finding solutions to operational issues.Training and mentoring&nbsp;of apprentices and artisans.&nbsp;Qualifications:·&nbsp;Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent with 10 years’ experience in a maintenance management environment and minimum of 5 years' experience at Workshop Manager level;&nbsp;OR&nbsp;Relevant technical diploma, or Appy trained diesel plant fitter, minimum of 15&nbsp;years' experience in a maintenance management&nbsp;environment with a minimum of 5 years' experience at Workshop Manager level.·&nbsp;Must have experience with maintenance management of a large fleet of construction plant and equipment.· Good financial acumen· Strong&nbsp;reporting and communication skills· Strong leadership and team management skills.· Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
