<h3>Academic Qualifications Required:</h3><p><br></p><ul><li>A degree in Finance/ Accounting and Business Economics</li></ul><p><br></p><h3>Experience Required:</h3><p><br></p><ul><li>At least 8 years’ senior management experience, preferably within microfinance, banking, financial services.</li></ul><p><br></p><h3>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</h3><p><br></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify">&nbsp;Lead the formulation, articulation, and execution of the Company’s strategy in collaboration with the Cluster Head and Board of Directors.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">&nbsp;Drive profitable and sustainable loan book growth across targeted market segments.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Oversee credit underwriting standards, portfolio quality, arrears management, and recovery strategies.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">&nbsp;Ensure optimal product mix, pricing strategies, and distribution channels aligned to market realities.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">&nbsp;Leverage deep understanding of Zimbabwe’s cash‑based economy to identify growth opportunities and develop innovative products for new and emerging markets.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">&nbsp;Drive market expansion initiatives informed by customer behaviour, informal sector dynamics, and evolving socio‑economic trends.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Provide oversight of treasury functions relating to microfinance operations, including liquidity management, funding structures, and cash flow optimisation.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">&nbsp;Manage the balance between growth, funding costs, liquidity risk, and capital preservation.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">&nbsp;Oversee the Company’s financial management frameworks, ensuring robust budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance monitoring.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">&nbsp;Ensure strong internal controls, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Provide executive oversight of enterprise, credit, operational, and compliance risk and mitigate risks that could impact business continuity and reputation.</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Build and lead a high‑performing management team with clear accountability for results, and effective talent and performance management.</li></ul>
