JOB PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe position exists to develop and maintain a security system that prevent lossesThe job includes the following specific responsibilities:<ul><li>Developing Security Strategies to investigate against risks identified</li><li>Ensuring that the Bank’s assets are well protected, and that Security Risks are minimized</li><li>Analysing all security Information and developing security policies and Procedures for the Bank</li><li>Recommending Secure IT security systems for use in the Bank</li><li>Designing security IT systems for the Bank</li><li>Recommending and maintaining CCTV security system</li><li>Ensuring that all Bank Security systems are maintained and serviced</li><li>Carrying out complex investigations</li><li>Compiling annual budgets</li><li>Gathering critical Security intelligence information to protect Bank assets and image</li><li>Advising the Manager Investigations, Integrity and Loss Control Division; CEO and Senior Management on preventative security measures to adhere to in-order to protect the Bank’s assets.</li><li>Advising the CEO on critical Security matters to ensure that the Bank is well informed and is on the alert on potential risks.</li><li>Advising the CEO and management on proactive security measures to take to protect the Bank.</li><li>Advising the Bank on policy changes to consider in order to protect Bank assets from abuse and fraud.</li><li>Analysing the macro and micro security environment that impact negatively on the Bank and advise the CEO accordingly.</li><li>Organizing internal training on matters of security</li></ul> Interested applicants should possess the following:<ul><li>Degree in Police and Security Studies/Security Management/Crime Investigations</li><li>Diploma in Security Management/Crime and investigations</li><li>At least 8 years post qualification experience Investigations, Safety, Security intelligence, Security Design and Security Assessment among others</li><li>Established reputation for integrity, sound management, and fairness.</li><li>Knowledge of ICT security systems, standards, and procedures.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with diverse people and excellent communication skills.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills</li></ul>

Key Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and develop strategies to mitigate them. </li><li class="ql-align-justify">Managing and enforcing access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry.</li><li>Performing periodic audits to identify security risks and recommend improvements.</li><li>Overseeing CCTV and alarm systems to detect and respond to security threats.</li><li>Conducting detailed investigations into security incidents, theft, and policy violations.</li><li>Collaborating with law enforcement agencies and emergency services as required.</li><li>Managing and evaluate the performance of contracted security personnel.</li><li>Providing security awareness training to employees</li><li>Compiling and submitting periodic security reports and recommendations to management.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and industry standards related to security.</li></ul>Qualifications and Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management/ Risk Management or a related field. </li><li>At least five years of working experience in security operations, loss control, or risk management within a corporate environment, preferably in FMCG Industry.</li><li>Background in law enforcement or fraud investigation (former ZRP Officer) is an added advantage.</li></ul>
