Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient financial planning, control, analysis and reporting
- Manage cash flow requirements and application
- Finance Representative to the Board of Directors
- Define and implement a business model in conjunction with the management company to achieve the strategic financial & operational objectives as directed by the shareholders
- Ensure optimal utilization and result of the Hotel Information Systems
- Preparation of financial feasibility models for any business opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all tax laws, statutory and regulatory requirements
- To co-ordinate an effective and efficient payroll management/resource allocation through establishing a flexible work force throughout the departments.
- To set annual operating targets, which will form part of the property’s annual business plan.
- Maintain discipline in the departments according to company standards, address deviations according to disciplinary company standards.
- To follow, monitor, manage, train, review and implement performance standards to establish and maintain a streamlined and efficient operation
Experience & Qualifications
- Sound experience in senior Finance positions – 5-8 years.
- Strategist with CA qualification.
- Experience within the Zimbabwean Finance sector essential.
- Finance experience in the Hospitality industry advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of all relevant statutory requirements.
- Sound knowledge of Finance and Stock Control related processes and procedures.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office Suite and Pastel.
- Sound experience and proven track record of having made targets.
- Sound knowledge of planning, budgeting and departmental administration.
