Duties and Responsibilities.
• Developing and implementing an organization wide sales and marketing strategy, and customize it to different markets where applicable.
• Meeting set sales monthly targets.
• Prospecting for new business and expanding on existing business.
• Develop and instill a culture of customer centricity in the sales team.
• Take the initiative in the supervision, training and performance evaluation of marketing and sales staff.
• Promoting the company’s existing brands and introducing new products to the market.
• Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals.
• Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company’s marketing goals.
• Gathering, investigating, analyzing, and summarizing market and company data and trends to draft reports.
• Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
• Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing
Masters Degree is an added advantage.
• Experience in the automotive industry is an added advantage
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial role.
