Assistant Layers Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Responsible for achieving commercial layers rear and production set targets and specifications
• Responsible for managing the Layers Rearing and Production team
• Responsible for meeting Commercial Layer Rearing targets
• Responsible for meeting table egg production target
• Ensures that biosecurity, QA SOPs, animal welfare, Financial SOPSs, and S.H.E standards are adhered to at all times by Layer Rearing and Production team
• Responsible for all Layer Rearing and Production assets, equipment & stocks
• Responsible for compiling budgets for the sites and managing expenditures to be within the set targets.
• Responsible for all HR-related issues including leave, overtime, recruitment, disciplinary issues, staff motivation, and team building.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science Degree Honors in Animal Science or equivalent.
• At Least 3 Years of relevant experience in the Poultry Industry.
