TRANSPORT CONTROLLER is responsible for receiving towing jobs from clients and allocating tows.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving calls from clients who needs assistance.
- Recording clients details such as; the type of car, kind of problem, location and destination and who is making the payment for the service.
- Allocating assignments and tasks to Rescue Angels.
- Following up on allocated tows with Rescue Angels to ensure timeous despatch to clients
- Contribution to the attainment of kilometre and revenue targets
- Collecting invoices from the Rescue Angels and cash where it applies.
- Verifying details on the invoice provided.
- Putting invoice details in RASO system.
- Handover and takeover of invoices, cash and tows with the transport controller on night shift.
- Submitting invoices and cash for the previous day to Accounts.
- Assisting Rescue Angels with towing customer vehicles
- Producing monthly reports
- Carrying out any other activities as delegated by Superior.

- 5 O levels.
- Diploma in transport and logistics operations.
- Class 2 Driver’s licence.
- Defensive driving certificate.
Experience
At least 4 years’ experience in transport and logistics Company.
