Feed Mill Mantainance Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures the Maintenance Department is run as per SOPs to minimize downtime and safety risk in the Feed Mill.
• Responsible for civil, electrical and mechanical maintenance of the Feed Mill.
• Responsible for the development, implementation and day-to-day supervision of maintenance systems, processes and documentation (Prevention and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, SOP’s, Safety, etc.)
• Develops and maintains KPIs for tracking and reporting the performance of the maintenance function (3rd party contractor performance, equipment reliability, overall equipment performance, etc.).
• Responsible for managing the Maintenance Department workforce.
• Responsible for all Maintenance Department equipment, spares & tools

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Industrial Manufacturing Engineering
• At least five years’ experience maintaining a food/feed production factory, and experience using a CMMS package.
• Familiarity/ Experience with feedmill equipment an absolute advantage – mixers, grinders, pellet mills, generators, steam boilers.
• Experience working with PLCs and profibus networks.
