DUTIES

  • Assist in analyzing logistics supply chain data, identifying trends, and making informed recommendations for process improvements across all sections of the Logistics department;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize Logistics & supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of products and materials;
  •  Support the implementation of supply chain strategies and initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs;
  •  Contribute to the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance;
  •  Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in logistics & supply chain management and propose innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement;
  • Assist in the enhancement of Logistics SHE performance in both mechanized and manual handling;
  • Contribute to optimum performance of Transport & Handling contractors (3PL suppliers) for the attainment of safe, sound & effective service delivery;
  • Assist in the implementation of the Logistics departments’ IMS procedures and adherence to the ISO14001:2015, 9001:2015 and 45001:2018 standards

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management/ Logistics & Transport/Operations Management.
  • Upper second (2.1) class degree or better.
  • Aged 25 years or below.
