Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Management: Oversee the daily operations of the farm fresh shop, ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Inventory Control: Manage stock levels, ensure product freshness, and place orders as needed to maintain inventory.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train the farm fresh shop staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high performance.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Implement local promotional strategies to increase foot traffic and sales.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Reporting: Track sales, expenses, and other key metrics, preparing regular reports for management.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales management or retail management, preferably in the food or poultry industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • A passion for the food industry and quality customer service.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the poultry or food industry is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards in food handling.
  • Previous experience managing a retail operation
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
