Graphic Design & Social Media Management Graduate Trainee

Duties and Responsibilities

Graphic Design

• Event communications materials (e.g., posters, e-mailers, banners, and short videos)
• Newsletter design
• Layout and formatting of reports, publications, and research summaries
• Other graphic design work is reasonably required
• Social Media Management
• Design and schedule social media content across LinkedIn, Twitter/X /X, Facebook, and Instagram
• Support the communications team with basic content repurpose and captioning
• Monitor engagement and ensure timely publication aligned with the communications manager calendar

Database Management

• Maintain and update communication-related databases, including mailing lists, contact directories, and stakeholder records
• Support tagging, segmentation, and clean-up of data for improved targeting and engagement
• Assist in preparing and managing distribution lists for newsletters, event invites, and other outreach activities

Requirements

• A Degree in Graphic Design
• Demonstrate experience in both graphic design and social media management.
• Share examples of design work done (portfolios where possible).
• Be familiar with professional brand standards and visual consistency.
