Qualifications


  • At least 5 O Levels including Mathematics and English Language
  • At least 2 A Levels
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or Equivalent;
  • Diploma in Freight Forwarding Practice (FFP) is a must,
  • Diploma in Customs Legislation & Procedures (CLP) is an added advantage;
  • Class 4 Drivers’ Licence


Experience Required


  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in road freight coordination.
  • Proven experience in managing high volumes of truck movements for mineral exports and break-bulk imports.
  • Sound understanding of transport industry regulations and statutory compliance.
  • Experience managing transport operations and logistics service providers.


Main Duties and Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and assign transporters for the movement of shipments from ports, within Zimbabwe, and to regional destinations.
  • Monitor and track trucks in transit; provide clients with timely updates.
  • Oversee and facilitate efficient border clearance procedures.
  • Ensure timely delivery of shipments to customers upon arrival in Zimbabwe.
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm order readiness and arrange loading schedules.
  • Compile accurate documentation to support invoicing processes.
  • Process CD3 forms and truck e-manifests in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage truck and driver allocation, schedules, and performance.
  • Handle administrative duties including file creation, documentation, and invoicing.
  • Maintain and manage proof of deliveries (PODs) to ensure accountability and compliance.
