Plan and direct the activities of the Organisation’s Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Information and Technology, and Real Estate functions.
Initiate and control the medium and long term plans of the functions under his/her control within the confines of the Organisation’s business goals, objectives, strategies, policies, and guidelines.
Control and coordinate the organisation’s accounting systems, taking cognizance of Government and international accounting and financial reporting standards.
Control and coordinate the budget and financing of the organisation’s capital development projects in conformity with the available financial resources.
Initiate and co-ordinate the organisation’s efforts to secure finance from external sources to meet the Organisation’s operating and capital expenditure requirements within set statutory and corporate parameters.
Oversee the organisation’s overall budget and financial planning processes.
Preparation of management and final accounts in the appropriate format for strategic management.
Qualifications:
A degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Must be a Chartered Accountant.
Must be a member of a relevant professional body.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
Ten years experience of which 5 years must have been at a senior management level in an accounting environment.
