Technical Services Manager

<p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepares and controls the Technical Services department budget.</li> <li>Formulates technical systems for infrastructural designs or modifications and the preparation of tenders thereof.</li> <li>Approves all technical material procurement and payments for materials and services.</li> <li>Draws up terms of reference for provision of services to external clients and facilitates signing of contracts as and when necessary.</li> <li>Organizes and monitors implementation of approved projects for the organisation through checking progress and quality of workmanship on an ongoing basis.</li> <li>Liaises with procurement department in the procurement of Engineering materials as and when necessary.</li> <li>Commissions plants, equipment and new buildings to users in the organisation on completion.</li> <li>Sets performance standards for the maintenance and implementation of company projects monthly.</li> <li>Prepares accurate and timeous departmental reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering</li> <li>Experience in a similar position</li> </ul>
