Financial Accountant

Main Duties:

• Financial Reporting:
• Ensure H1 and FY results including Tax computations are produced accurately in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Comprehensive knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Local Statutory and Regulatory requirements for Listed Entities.
• Preparation of accurate reports for Analyst Briefings and the Analyst Briefings.
• Treasury Function:
• Preparation and consolidation of budgets for the entire organization by the department
• Cash management (daily bank position, supervise weekly cash counts, liaison with suppliers and bankers, checking payments and orders, authorizing orders, supplying reference numbers, etc)
• Cash flow management

Qualifications:

• BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Additional certification i.e. ACCA, CIS, CIMA etc
• Experience in a similar role
