Product Consultant

<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilties</strong></p> <ul> <li>To work closely with Sales and Marketing to understand and analyse the group stock requirements by location.</li> <li>To work closely with Production Unit and suppliers to ensure product designs, products manufactured and solutions meet market demands.</li> <li>Assist in the design, development, and management of new, existing or acquisition of products.</li> <li>Ensures smooth and timely movement of stocks from suppliers and Production Units to all the branches</li> <li>Ensures the availability of the relevant and right level of stock as dictated by customer demands at the each branch.</li> <li>Review product performance against market requirements so as to provide optimal product.</li> <li>Facilitate product demonstrations for both prospective markets and existing markets as needed.</li> <li>Implements and monitors product development projects.</li> <li>Develop expertise in product, technical and industry and process knowledge of all the product lines.</li> <li>Maintain a thorough understanding of marketplace, competitors and industry trends in order to identify new business and marketing opportunities</li> <li>Develop product reference documentation and product training material for sales staff and customers.</li> <li>Facilitate training of sales and marketing teams on product knowledge.</li> <li>Ensure marketing and training materials are fully compliant and appropriately updated and distributed.</li> <li>Implement the product marketing plan in conjunction with sales and marketing for increasing sales and revenue.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Marketing or Business Management</li> <li>MBA is an added advantage</li> <li>Experience in a similar position</li> </ul>
