Duties and Responsibilties
- To work closely with Sales and Marketing to understand and analyse the group stock requirements by location.
- To work closely with Production Unit and suppliers to ensure product designs, products manufactured and solutions meet market demands.
- Assist in the design, development, and management of new, existing or acquisition of products.
- Ensures smooth and timely movement of stocks from suppliers and Production Units to all the branches
- Ensures the availability of the relevant and right level of stock as dictated by customer demands at the each branch.
- Review product performance against market requirements so as to provide optimal product.
- Facilitate product demonstrations for both prospective markets and existing markets as needed.
- Implements and monitors product development projects.
- Develop expertise in product, technical and industry and process knowledge of all the product lines.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of marketplace, competitors and industry trends in order to identify new business and marketing opportunities
- Develop product reference documentation and product training material for sales staff and customers.
- Facilitate training of sales and marketing teams on product knowledge.
- Ensure marketing and training materials are fully compliant and appropriately updated and distributed.
- Implement the product marketing plan in conjunction with sales and marketing for increasing sales and revenue.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Marketing or Business Management
- MBA is an added advantage
- Experience in a similar position
