Lead Innovations & Business Development

<p>Main Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in the development, execution and evaluation of long term and digital innovations strategies for the company.</li> <li>Lead cross functional teams in prototyping and pilot testing of solutions, managing, supporting and conducting continuous research adhering to best practice, regionally and internationally.</li> <li>Manage innovative projects, Develop business cases/plans and conducting Market research</li> <li>Establish and maintain revenue generating relationships through active participation in new product launching, or expanding the penetration of existing products within current and new accounts</li> <li>Collaborate effectively with internal team to help build products that are uniquely suited to address unmet client business needs, intellectual capital and enhance the suite of software solutions</li> <li>Being responsible for overseeing the delivery of platform solutions.</li> <li>Plan, identify, develop and execute new products, analytics and value added services revenue opportunities for the Company to ensure the organisation stays abreast with new products and services that can be offered.</li> <li>Continuously review payments landscape through recommending, developing, and implementing new and creative approaches to growing Company`s business.</li> <li>Responsible for monthly portfolio performance reports, departmental budget and ensuring adherence to set budgets and company policies.</li> <li>Lead department and cascading the overall company strategy and objectives to team members</li> <li>Develop and adhere to the approved training plan and ensure closure of identified training gaps.</li> <li>Provide operational and technical leadership within business development</li> <li>Participate in departmental/management meetings, performance reviews and training/developmental activities.</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Degree in IT, Commerce, Business Studies, Engineering or similar</li> <li>Corporate membership to a professional body</li> <li>Relevant Certification</li> <li>Knowledge of Postilion System will be an added advantage</li> <li>At least 3 years experience working experience in a banking and/or financial environment preferably in the area of Innovation, business intelligence analysis or similar.</li> <li>Appreciation of financial switching/ payments industry</li> <li>Knowledge of research and analytics</li> </ul>
