Main Duties:

  • Participate in the development, execution and evaluation of long term and digital innovations strategies for the company.
  • Lead cross functional teams in prototyping and pilot testing of solutions, managing, supporting and conducting continuous research adhering to best practice, regionally and internationally.
  • Manage innovative projects, Develop business cases/plans and conducting Market research
  • Establish and maintain revenue generating relationships through active participation in new product launching, or expanding the penetration of existing products within current and new accounts
  • Collaborate effectively with internal team to help build products that are uniquely suited to address unmet client business needs, intellectual capital and enhance the suite of software solutions
  • Being responsible for overseeing the delivery of platform solutions.
  • Plan, identify, develop and execute new products, analytics and value added services revenue opportunities for the Company to ensure the organisation stays abreast with new products and services that can be offered.
  • Continuously review payments landscape through recommending, developing, and implementing new and creative approaches to growing Company`s business.
  • Responsible for monthly portfolio performance reports, departmental budget and ensuring adherence to set budgets and company policies.
  • Lead department and cascading the overall company strategy and objectives to team members
  • Develop and adhere to the approved training plan and ensure closure of identified training gaps.
  • Provide operational and technical leadership within business development
  • Participate in departmental/management meetings, performance reviews and training/developmental activities.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in IT, Commerce, Business Studies, Engineering or similar
  • Corporate membership to a professional body
  • Relevant Certification
  • Knowledge of Postilion System will be an added advantage
  • At least 3 years experience working experience in a banking and/or financial environment preferably in the area of Innovation, business intelligence analysis or similar.
  • Appreciation of financial switching/ payments industry
  • Knowledge of research and analytics
