District Project Officer

<p>Industrial Psychology Consultants (Pvt) Ltd has been contracted by the Zimplats Mhondoro-Ngezi, Chegutu, Zvimba Community Share Ownership Trust to assist with the recruitment and selection of a suitable candidate for the position of District Projects Officer.</p> <p><strong>Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide a Trust link role with all stakeholders in the district</li> <li>Coordinate and monitor district-specific projects</li> <li>Work with district stakeholders on all Trust related community mobilization activities</li> <li>Project appraisals</li> <li>Selection of project participants</li> <li>Evaluation of sustainable income generation projects</li> <li>Loan repayments follow-ups and enforcement</li> <li>Design and develop effective information management (including management information systems), communications, feedback and linkages with all key stakeholders.</li> <li>Carrying out periodic needs assessments, evaluations and subsequent capacity building of communities and staff in the trust.</li> <li>Design, develop and submit sustainable market income-generating project proposals</li> <li>Liaise with current and prospective partners in establishing business linkages and income generation initiatives</li> <li>Manage Trust resources and ensure their effective deployment in terms of sector allocations (Women, Youths and the disabled)</li> <li>Asset management and oversight</li> <li>Timely preparation and submission of accurate monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports to the CEO</li> <li>Work closely with the Trust Accounting Officer to ensure transparency and accountability in all forms of business interaction</li> <li>Adhere and articulate the requirements of the operations procedures manual and other Trust policies</li> <li>Carry out marketing and sales activities for the Trust</li> <li>Accurate recording and reconciliations of products</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Studies</li> <li>At least 5 years relevant experience in a similar role</li> <li>Diploma in project monitoring and evaluation is a must</li> </ul>
