Duties and Responsibilities • Collaborates with the Board to define and articulate the Commission’s vision and to develop strategies for achieving that vision. • Creates annual operating plans that support strategic direction set by the Board and correlate with annual operating budgets. • Develops future leadership within the Commission. • Promotes a culture that reflects the Commissions values and encourages good performance. • Oversees the development of annual budgets that support operating plans. • Oversees the operations of the Commission and manages its compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. • Develops fund raising strategies with the board. • Supervises the development and implementation of HR policies. • Oversee content, production and distribution of all marketing and publicity materials. • Manages and oversees the development and coordination of investor education and awareness programs. • Evaluate the effectiveness of the investor education activities.•Qualifications and Experience • Degree in Economics/ Finance/ Banking/ any other relevant Business degree. • MBA or any other relevant masters degree is an added advantage. • Minimum of 10 years in an Executive Leadership Role in the Financial Services Sector. • Minimum of 8 years in the Capital Markets at Senior Executive Level is desirable. • Experience in outcome monitoring processes. • Awareness of existing relevant regulations and legislation governing capital markets in Zimbabwe. • Familiarity with the workings of Government and the Capital Markets. • Evidence of Leading strategic business Transformation. • Evidence of strong Policy formulation and Implementation.
