Responsible for ensuring that accurate weight and balance data is generated in order to support safe, compliant and efficient flight operations.
Needs to have knowledge of the principles of weight and balance and their application in a commercial airline environment.
Understand aircraft performance and its relationship to weight and balance measures.
Updating manifests, planning, coordinating and producing all loading, weight and balance documentation, ensuring the safe distribution of load within prescribed aircraft limitations, monitoring the performance of the departure control system and updating system information.
Issue a load sheet and certify that the information contained therein corresponds to the actual load of the aircraft.
Prepare loading instructions for arrivals and departures. Complete the NOTOC (loading positions) prepared by cargo handling agency.
Receives check-in figures from the ticket counter after the flight has been finalised.
Receives Final Fuel order from the Cockpit or / Ramp agent.
Updates all distribution according to actual figures, releases / prepares the load sheet.
Inform the Cockpit of any Last Minute Changes.
