<p>Industrial Psychology Consultants (Pvt) Ltd has been contracted by the Agricultural Marketing Authority to assist with the recruitment and selection of a suitable candidate for each of the positions below: Head of Compliance Job Purpose To ensuring that the Chief Executive is at all times apprised of developments within the Function’s remit and providing professional and strategic advice to the Board. Duties and Responsibilities: •To provide the Authority’s staff, management, Board and Board Committees, as applicable, with high quality legal and related advice/analyses, tailored to the Authority’s needs, on matters pertaining to all aspects of the Authority’s statutory remit and related matters; •To provide advice to the Authority’s staff, management, Board and Board Committees, as applicable, on legal strategy and related matters; •To manage and coordinate the Authority’s approach towards litigation/other proceedings to which the Authority is party or potentially party; •To lead in the development of Regulations and related material pertaining to the Authority’s statutory functions; •To contribute to the preparation of draft legislation as required; •To lead in, as applicable, the development of other material/publications pertaining to the Authority’s statutory remit as required; •Head of Compliance will also be appointed to the position of Company Secretary. Qualifications and Experience •LLB Degree or equivalent qualification; •Admitted Attorney; •8 – 10 years’ post admission experience in a Commercial law environment; •Minimum of five (5) years experience at Senior Management level.</p>
