<ul> <li>Develop commercial strategies and objectives based on<br /> consumer and competitive insights in the assigned<br /> territory and align them with partners.</li> <li>Ensure effective implementation/execution of all the<br /> agreed strategies (including trade and consumer<br /> engagement activities) and ultimately accountable for<br /> attaining the planned volume and share of market<br /> Zimbabwe.</li> <li><strong>COMMERCIAL STRATEGY AND PLANS</strong><br /> Contribute to the development of sales, distribution, consumer and stakeholder<br /> engagement strategies and plans for the assigned territory in order to gain competitive<br /> advantage and fulfill the company’s overall business targets in the market.<br /> Propose, implement and manage country level Business Plans and actively contribute in<br /> formulating BPWATTS per community.</li> <li><strong>COUNTRY DATA MANAGEMENT AND MARKET INTELLIGENCE</strong><br /> Manage Data gathering and reporting ( iSMS , Consumer Segmentation etc ) for the assigned<br /> Country.<br /> Continuously monitor for new product and package innovations, new opportunities,<br /> competition activities for the assigned territory and provide feedback to the relevant<br /> departments, so that their efforts are well targeted and have maximum impact.<br /> Validate and analyze consumer and trade data collected by the Trade, Promoters and CE<br /> Executives in order to better understand the country and define action plans for<br /> improvements.</li> <li><strong>CYCLE PLANNING AND BUDGET MANAGEMENT</strong><br /> Supervise the implementation of country level Business Plan, cycle plans and budgets for<br /> the assigned market in order to ensure that volume and profit objectives are met.<br /> Control and track all major budget parameters in assigned market and ensure that<br /> reporting requirements are met.</li> <li><strong>CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT, RETAIL, & TRADE PROGRAMS</strong><br /> Manage and follow up the implementation of agreed upon Trade, Retail and CE initiatives<br /> in order to ensure maximum effect of these programs in the assigned market.<br /> Work closely with Sales Development , Trade Marketing, Marketing and Brand Teams to<br /> contribute to the development of driver programs and provide the feedback on the results.</li> <li><strong>INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL PARTNERS MANAGEMENT</strong><br /> Continuously search for new business opportunities at existing and potential POS, LAMPs,<br /> and build and maintain productive relationships with Partners, POS, LAMPs , HORECA<br /> owners & staff. Supervise implementation of brand activations plans and control the<br /> quality of work delivered at POS (based on POS segmentation/channel).<br /> Regularly align and coordinate activities with Marketing, Brand Management, Trade<br /> Marketing Departments and PARTNERS to ensure collaboration for successful<br /> implementation among all business partners on granular initiatives.</li> <li><strong>KPI MANAGEMENT</strong><br /> Define KPIs for General Trade and Consumer Engagement for the assigned country in line<br /> with overall objectives (e.g. Out of Stock, Distribution, Volume, CE contacts, Interactions<br /> and profiles etc ) and ensure the implementation in line with the agreed<br /> Ensure Route Plans are discussed, effective and validated with the Trade Executives,<br /> supervisors, merchandisers and Consumer Engagement staf f for the efficient coverage.<br /> Ensure marketing materials (POSM, TPOSM, visuals) are ordered on time and with the right<br /> quantities in line with POS segmentation and deployed.</li> <li><strong>LEGAL & CORPORATE FRAMEWORK</strong><br /> Maintain a thorough understanding of the major Legal and/or Corporate issues which<br /> impact or may impact the tobacco industry and/or GLTCZ Partners in order to translate such<br /> issues into business terms and contribute to the implementation of new country sales &<br /> distribution strategies, plans or programs that may arise there from.<br /> Ensure that solid image for GLTCZ, as responsible corporation and preferred business<br /> partner, is built and maintained through marketing activities, by following Code of Conduct,<br /> Policies & Procedures, and performing activities in line with GLTCZ guidelines/rules.</li> <li><strong>HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT</strong><br /> Supervise, monitor and train CE, TE and 3rd party .<br /> Ensure development of the organizational skills and competencies required to implement<br /> commercial strategy in the assigned territory and fulfill business objectives through<br /> recruitment, talent and performance management and development actions.<br /> Foster the effective team and work environment and encourage initiative to allow<br /> individuals within the organization to maximize their potential in the job and increase the<br /> overall performance in organization, team spirit and motivation.<br /> Work closely with Partners and agencies and contribute to on the job training and<br /> development.</li> <li>BSc Marketing or equivalent </li> <li>3 years experience at a managerial level</li> </ul>
