Responsible for creating, planning, implementing and integrating the strategic direction for the Commission Duties and
Responsibilities Collaborate with the Board to define and articulate the Commission’s vision and to develop strategies for achieving that vision.
Creates annual operating plans that support strategic direction set by the Board and correlate with annual operating budgets.
Develops future leadership within the Commission.
Promotes a culture that reflects the Commissions values and encourages good performance.
Oversees the development of annual budgets that support operating plans.
Oversees the operations of the Commission and manages its compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Develops fundraising strategies with the board.
Supervises the development and implementation of HR policies.
Oversee content, production and distribution of all marketing and publicity materials.
Manages and oversees the development and coordination of investor education and awareness programs. Evaluate the effectiveness of the investor education activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Economics/ Finance/ Banking/ any other relevant Business degree.
MBA or any other relevant master's degree is an added advantage.
Minimum of 8 years in an Executive Leadership Role in the Financial Services Sector.
Capital Markets experience is an added advantage.
Experience in outcome monitoring processes.
Awareness of existing relevant regulations and legislation governing capital markets in Zimbabwe.
Familiarity with the workings of Government and the Capital Markets.
Evidence of Leading strategic business Transformation.
Evidence of strong Policy formulation and Implementation.
