Chief Executive Officer

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Overall Job Purpose:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for creating, planning, implementing and integrating the strategic direction for the Commission Duties and</li> <li>Responsibilities Collaborate with the Board to define and articulate the Commission&rsquo;s vision and to develop strategies for achieving that vision.</li> <li>Creates annual operating plans that support strategic direction set by the Board and correlate with annual operating budgets.</li> <li>Develops future leadership within the Commission.</li> <li>Promotes a culture that reflects the Commissions values and encourages good performance.</li> <li>Oversees the development of annual budgets that support operating plans.</li> <li>Oversees the operations of the Commission and manages its compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Develops fundraising strategies with the board.</li> <li>Supervises the development and implementation of HR policies.</li> <li>Oversee content, production and distribution of all marketing and publicity materials.</li> <li>Manages and oversees the development and coordination of investor education and awareness programs. Evaluate the effectiveness of the investor education activities.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Qualifications and Experience: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Economics/ Finance/ Banking/ any other relevant Business degree.</li> <li>MBA or any other relevant master's degree is an added advantage.</li> <li>Minimum of 8 years in an Executive Leadership Role in the Financial Services Sector.</li> <li>Capital Markets experience is an added advantage.</li> <li>Experience in outcome monitoring processes.</li> <li>Awareness of existing relevant regulations and legislation governing capital markets in Zimbabwe.</li> <li>Familiarity with the workings of Government and the Capital Markets.</li> <li>Evidence of Leading strategic business Transformation.</li> <li>Evidence of strong Policy formulation and Implementation.</li> </ul>
