Key Responsibilities
In collaboration with Course Administrator:
- Planning and Organisation of physical, hybrid and online Language Courses (including economical aspects)
- Curriculum planning and teacher allocation Hosting Teacher's meetings
- Ordering of Learning material Maintenance of Teacher's library
- Statistics and Reporting for internal purposes and to Goethe Institut in Germany
- Evaluation of Courses Consultation of Learners as well as interested parties and - where required - their parents
- Planning and Organisation of Teachers' training
- Quality management of Language Courses
- Collaboration with Institutions (f. ex. Language Schools, Cultural Institutions, Universities, Institutions of Tertiary Education)
- Marketing activities, Social Media, Open Day programmes etc.
Budget planning for Language Department:
- Language Courses Project funding Bildungskooperation Deutsch
- Definition of Course and Exam fees (in collaboration with Exam Administrator)
- Budget planning for Internal training and Learning material
Stipends and Stipend Processing Human Ressource management of Teaching personnel:
- Selection and Induction of new Teaching personnel
- Functional supervision
Selection of Personnel for special tasks Internal Training:
- Organisation of „Hospitationen“ (collegial Sitting-in-class) and Professional Training Participation in.
- Organisation of Course Enrolment
- Marketing activities for Language Courses and Programmes
- Planning and Conceptualisation of Language Courses
- Evaluation and Recruitment of Teaching Staff
- Preparing income overviews (Course fees and Selling of Learning material for Accounts department.
Profile and Requirements:
- Proficient in German Language (at least C1 level or Mother tongue)
- University degree in Germanistics, German as Foreign language or similar Experience in Administration of Language course enterprise
- Experience in Teaching German as Foreign language (DaF) to Adults (experience in digital or hybrid tuition as an advantage)
- Broad Acquaintance with current DaF teaching materials
- Acquaintance with regional studies / Good knowledge of German Culture, Current affairs, History Acquainted with current MS Office software as well as Communication Tools (Zoom, MS Teams etc.)
- Willingness to get acquainted with Goethe Institut software systems / platforms
- High level of intercultural and social competence
- Ability to work under pressure / deadlines / capacity for teamwork
- Proficient in English Language
