Finance Manager

<p>Main Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Evaluating and monitoring plan profitability and financial performance in line with health industry guidelines and management targets annually</li> <li>Performing all tax related planning to minimize the tax burden of the company.</li> <li>Designing and executing investment strategy in line with shareholder objectives in keeping with the health industry guidelines and sources and application of funds</li> <li>Executing financial strategy in support of annual corporate strategic priorities</li> <li>Coordinating and finalizing internal audit review queries before sign off.</li> <li>Coordinating the Health Services annual external audits from end to end.</li> <li>Consolidating financial information from all sites across the country into a monthly reporting pack.</li> <li>Ensuring accurate and timely production of all financial information from all sites.</li> <li>Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulation relating to the health services industry.</li> <li>Presenting financial reports to higher management.</li> <li>Ensuring the integrity of accounting information by verifying, allocating, posting and entering transactions.</li> <li>Monitoring budgets against actual performance and reporting major variances.</li> <li>Co-ordination of budget variation process.</li> <li>Co-ordination of monthly and annual site stock takes for medical centres and pharmacies.</li> <li>Playing an oversight role in ensuring that all debtors&rsquo; reconciliations are prepared and remittance advises from Medical Aid societies are captured correctly.</li> <li>Engagement with key stakeholders such as debtors, suppliers and regulators to manage the financial obligations attributable to either party.</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Accounting</li> <li>A professional qualification is an added advantage e.g. CA, CIMA, ACCA etc.</li> <li>At least 4 years&rsquo; experience in a similar or related environment.</li> <li>Experience in health services finance.</li> <li>Experience working with IFRS reporting.</li> </ul>
