Main Duties:

  • Assisting in procurement planning and execution of plans.
  • Assisting in ensuring timeous procurement of motor vehicle spares, general goods, hardware, electrical through monitoring procurement progress.
  • Checking quality of all procured products on receiving to ensure end users’ specifications are met.
  • Maintaining an audit trail of all procurement processes.
  • Preparation and submission of reports as required by management.
  • Complying with all SOPs and SHE policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Purchasing and Supply management or its equivalent.
  • At least 2years of experience in a similar or related role.
  • Knowledge of haulage trucks spare parts and general goods, hardware and electrical
  • Good planning, time management and able to work under pressure.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills as well as good attention to detail.
  • Mature person of integrity.
  • Computer literate with experience in using MEX and SAP.
