Assistant Procurement Officer

<p>Main Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting in procurement planning and execution of plans.</li> <li>Assisting in ensuring timeous procurement of motor vehicle spares, general goods, hardware, electrical through monitoring procurement progress.</li> <li>Checking quality of all procured products on receiving to ensure end users&rsquo; specifications are met.</li> <li>Maintaining an audit trail of all procurement processes.</li> <li>Preparation and submission of reports as required by management.</li> <li>Complying with all SOPs and SHE policies and procedures.</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Diploma in Purchasing and Supply management or its equivalent.</li> <li>At least 2years of experience in a similar or related role.</li> <li>Knowledge of haulage trucks spare parts and general goods, hardware and electrical</li> <li>Good planning, time management and able to work under pressure.</li> <li>Good communication and interpersonal skills as well as good attention to detail.</li> <li>Mature person of integrity.</li> <li>Computer literate with experience in using MEX and SAP.</li> </ul>
