Proposing and designing all capital projects according to the organization’s production and safety requirements in liaison with the Manufacturing Executive.
Planning and ensuring that annual and scheduled maintenance is done.
Ensuring that machinery conforms to statutory requirements by ensuring annual inspections of pressure vessels e.g., boilers and ammonia storage vessels.
Ensures that all capital and critical spares are always available by closely liaising with stores.
Ensuring that all weighing equipment is assized yearly e.g. rail and road weighbridges.
Carrying out any other maintenance works as required by the organization from time to time.
Complying with ISO (EMS, QMS, OSHAS) management systems in the discharge of duties.
