Audit Manager

<p><img alt="KPMG logo" src="https://assets.kpmg/is/image/kpmg/kpmg-logo-1" /></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities/Duties</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality audit and assurance service, including preparing and reviewing audit plans and work</li> <li>Prepare or review accounting-related reports and provide financial analysis upon completion of fieldwork to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures</li> <li>Work with audit engagement teams to ensure the various components of the audit engagements are performed -- including gathering information from the client and reviewing and compiling client financial data.</li> <li>Conduct collaboration sessions and/or discussions with client executive leadership.</li> <li>Stay aware of general business trends or issues to professionally represent and apply this knowledge to the client&#39;s solutions, potentially developing new or additional business for the firm</li> <li>Develop, train and mentor Audit Interns, Seasonal Audit Associates, Audit Associates and Senior Audit Associates on projects and assess both personal and professional performance for engagement and career development opportunities</li> <li>Attend professional development, networking events and training seminars on a regular basis.</li> <li>Achieve team and individual budgets and business plan/ performance objectives.</li> <li>Manage project financials, including budgets, timely billing and collection and variance recognition</li> <li>Maintain the highest technical and professional standard.</li> <li>Providing additional help and guidance to clients on a consultancy basis.</li> <li>Participates in the development of ways to meet client needs, contributes to proposal delivery. Interested candidates should send their CVs to ZW</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting from a reputable university.</li> <li>Chartered Accountant (CA), Associated Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA).</li> <li>Five years of increasing management/supervisory experience in auditing and accounting, including experience interacting with senior management and oversight boards.</li> <li>Project management skills including leading teams.</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of accounting and auditing practices and procedures, legal, business and investment terminology, relevant law including ethics standards.</li> <li>Knowledge of governmental and pension industry specific accounting reporting requirements.</li> </ul>
