Mechanical Technician

<p><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Installations, maintenance and repairs of all mechanical equipment and machinery.</li> <li>Recommends cost saving best practices to the Maintenance Supervisor</li> <li>Attends swiftly and timeously to electrical and mechanical faults reported to the maintenance team</li> <li>Discusses work that requires priority and then monitors progress on the work updating the Maintenance Supervisor daily.</li> <li>Liaises with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding the laid down maintenance plan.</li> <li>Checks all machines daily and ensures that they are working correctly.</li> <li>Liaises with the Maintenance Supervisor on spare parts or outwork required to complete the job.</li> <li>Adhere to safety health environment and quality systems</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 3 years of experience in Dairy/Beverage</li> <li>Apprenticeship Trained/Certificate</li> </ul>
