Industrial Psychology Consultants (Pvt) Ltd has been contracted by ZIMSWITCH to assist with the recruitment and selection of a suitable candidate for the position of Chief Executive Officer. Overall Purpose: To be fully responsible for the company's strategy and growth. This includes establishing operational strategies that guarantee sustained business growth and developing alliances and profitable partner relationships. Duties and Responsibilities: •Takes charge of developing the company's short, medium, and long-term strategy. •Oversees business operations to ensure effective procedures and policies (operational and financial). •Develops and manages relationships with partners, ensuring they meet their duties, and Zimswitch provides the necessary assistance •Responds to market developments to drive the growth of new services and products that address essential client demands. •Oversees financial reporting, accounts, controls, taxation, audits and regulatory compliance. •Presents accurate periodic performance reports to the Board. •Builds and delivers business plans that create meaningful growth opportunities with Fintech / Banks / Partners. •Oversees the Strategic Partner role, including recruiting and developing a senior management team. •Cultivates the culture in the organization where every employee lives up to the company's core values. •Develops, monitors and tracks budgets and long-range financial forecasts. •Establishes a robust network of prospective distribution channels through partners. •Creates API-based tools to expand the breadth of collaboration with important partners. •Establishes a data-driven business case for all new initiatives Qualifications and Experience •A Bachelor’s Degree. •An MBA is an added advantage •At least 7 years of relevant experience in a senior leadership role ideally in financial services (payment gateways), non-bank financial institutions, financial institutions, Fintech businesses - or exposure to the eCommerce industry. Other Attributes Desirable attributes •Prior expertise with payment products. •Proven expertise in developing and executing company strategy at the local/regional level would •Experience with regulatory engagement is desirable. •An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
