Provide support to critical enterprise systems which include but not limited to ERP and POS systems, monitoring and maintenance to ensure delivery of seamless service to both internal and external customers
Plans periodic system activities, procedures and delivery schedules for integration and implementation.
Developing and updating the ICT infrastructure road map to support business needs,
Developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures for the ICT operations function, reviewing and approving hardware and software maintenance plans as well as server deployment baselines developed by the vendor and subordinates,

Controlling monthly expenditure by monitoring financial movement as well as acting on usage of ICT resources in the department
Drive and monitor the continued service improvement of ICT services focusing on delivering business benefits.
Define and implement policies to manage the platforms securely, including identity and access management, patching, and disaster recovery.
Manage the use of data across platforms, ensuring that robust data engineering promotes and provides data to the right platforms at the right time for operational and analytical uses.
To keep abreast of technical developments of operational importance to the company, identifying best practice technologies to the business, participating in developing or setting standards and assisting with improving the standard of technical delivery and competencies within the technical teams.
To ensure that the infrastructure is developed in a manner that supports delivery of services to multiple platforms with appropriate levels of resilience and performance.
Develops and manages projects and providing feedback on progress on ICT projects at senior management meetings.
Line Management and departmental accountability of reports including support managers, infrastructure managers and middle level manager
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
An MBA would be an added advantage.
Professional certifications such as in SQL, Databases, ITIL etc.
