Facilitating strategic planning, implementation and review.
Providing technical analysis required for the formulation of robust business strategies
Providing technical advice to the Group on the impact on the business of legislative or regulatory changes or national policy pronouncements.
Leading the tracking of daily market data and economic variable and the production of daily market bulletins that are used internally and also shared with key customers of the company.
Undertaking business/market research activities, feasibility assessment, forecasting and any other analysis required in evaluating new strategic opportunities
Providing key input to the budget formulation process and development of business models at Group and individual entity levels.
Providing technical input to key committees at the Group and SBU level.
Analyzing and interpreting micro and macroeconomic fundamentals and their impact on business
Requirements
A commercial degree,
Masters in Business Administration or equivalent will be an added advantage
A minimum of 5 years in a similar environment at a senior management level
Ability to construct and use econometric models to forecast economic variables such as inflation, interest rates, economic growth, etc.
