- Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance of all plant equipment
- Effectively use resources to reduce maintenance cost
- Carry out root cause analysis on breakdowns and come up with appropriate corrective actions
- Adherence to KORE, Food Safety, EOSH and company policies
- Ensure that working areas are maintained at the highest standard of housekeeping.
- Reporting on daily electricity usage and generator log readings
- Ensure that all work is carried out at the highest standards of workmanship recorded on job-cards to be returned to Foreman on daily basis.
- Ensure that all safety precautions and regulations as laid down by Factories Act are adhered to at all times.
- Work with fellow artisans and production staff equally to ensure a harmonious working environment is maintained.
- Execute identified projects in relation to the plant at agreed timeframes
- Report daily on equipment performance to the Engineering Foreman in relation to breakdowns
- Maintain the highest standard of safety awareness.
- Maintain a high standard of awareness with regard to plant equipment in direct and indirect care.
- Effectively and efficiently execute any tasks assigned by the Engineering Foreman or Plant Manager.
- Carry out planned maintenance for all plant equipment timeously.
