Manager Legal Recoveries

Duties and Responsibilities 

Provides legal advice to management.

Utilizing effective recovery strategies to recover money on assigned NPLs and Written off accounts.

Comply with statutory, regulatory and supervisory requirements to protect the reputation of the organisation and avoid legal action in respect of regulatory compliance matters.

Coordinate the collection of information from lawyers required by external auditors

Qualifications and Attributes

Bachelor of Law Honours Degree

Minimum of 5 years’ experience of legal experience at a private practice or an in-house legal department.

Knowledge and understanding of the laws, processes and documentation about foreclosures.

Ability to deal firmly and decisively with delinquent borrowers.

Should understand legal consequences of recovery and collection activities and thorough grasp of Banking law and Practice.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Financial literacy is essential.
