<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Child Protection Programme Coordinator .</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Facilitate and provide technical guidance to programme grantees.</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with the program goals/objectives/expectations.</li> <li>Ensure partners deliver on time, within budget and providing clear feedback on progress including challenges faced. </li> <li>Monthly updates as requested , working under the direction of GM and RD.</li> <li>Building and coordinating a learning consortium between the partners and other key stakeholders.</li> <li>Keep abreast with key developments and learnings in the sector and effectively share and communicate these with grantees.</li> <li>Produce regular consolidated reports that tracks and captures programme progress and learning. </li> <li>Relationship building with key players in the region through engagement in working groups and conferences in strict coordination with GM. </li> <li>Assist in coordinating programme-learning convening’s annually. </li> <li>Provide support where needed to the programme M&E leads.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>BSc in any Social Science Degree plus a Masters in the relevant field</li> <li>5 years + working in the child protection and safeguarding sector, with a passion for children’s rights and knowledge about rights based approaches.</li> <li>Also desirable is experience working in the field of education. </li> <li>Previous work with the church or Faith Based organizations is a plus.</li> <li>Experience in programme management and coordination of funding consortiums.</li> </ul>
