Carry out property market research, evaluate market sectors and identify emerging property development opportunities.
Compiles all documentation required for purchasing of investment properties, including valuing the properties.
Prepare design briefs and supervise building designs by external consultants
Reviews building designs prepared by external consultants and spearhead value engineering initiatives to align designs to user requirements
Conducts feasibility and financial appraisal of projects o Vets service providers such as consultants and contractors
Recommends project procurement and contracting systems o Liaises and engages relevant statutory bodies (e.g. EMA AND Local Planning Authorities) and ensure requisite approvals are obtained on time.
Obtains senior management and Corporate approvals for development projects
Provide end to end project management in construction works o Ensure accurate and timely reporting for periodic management and board meetings covering all aspects of each project
Compiles all final projects as built drawings and presents to the Property
Management team for use in setting up property management systems. o Oversees major building maintenance works on all properties
Qualifications and experience
Degree in Quantity Surveying/Civil Engineering/ Architecture
At least 3 years of experience in construction project management or property development
Registration with a relevant professional body an added advantage
