Main Duties:
- Leads in liason with the Executive Committee, the development and implementation of short and long term strategies
- Effective communication of positions to members, the Government, the Press and other stakeholders
- Champions, plans, organizes and oversees the developmentand implementation of a range of services and events
- Advocates for laws, policies and programs that benefit business while taking measures to mitigate and or eliminate business while taking measures to mitigate and or eliminate business impediments
- Assessing the risks that may face the organisation from time to time and developing necessary counter measures
- Effective administration of the secretariat to ensure efficient and effective membership services
- Provides members with technical support in areas of policy, trade and investment and regulatory compliance
- Foster and mainatin relationships with local and international companys
- Efficient promotion and running of the organisation's events
Requirements:
Degree in Business Management
Masters in Business Management an added advantage
At least 15 years experience at same or similar level with economics and industrial experience a distinct advantage
