Duties & Responsibilities
- Markets rental property
- Collects rentals
- Screen tenants and provides for reasonable demands of requests /complaints by Tenants
- Ensures the rental property and its outdoor areas are well maintained at all times
- Schedules routine maintenance and ensures that the rental property stays in good shape
- Write to tenants regarding lease obligations
- Notifies lease expiration date
- Renewal/termination or voluntary move out obligation
- Maintains log and lists as necessary for easy of reference
- Maintains log and lists as necessary for ease of reference
- Maintains preventative maintenance calendar
- Writes Memos and makes phone calls to tenants relating to lease issues and preventative maintenance schedules
- Develops property monitoring and management reporting schedules
- Ensures rental property is occupied at all times
- Maintains records, reports and files for the property
- Negotiates sales on all real estate contracts
- Compiles property data for financial projects
- Manages building maintenance projects
- Analyses market conditions for properties from time to time
- Evaluates property sales and maximise on profits
- Pays property bills timeously
- Engages in rigorous and objectively negotiates with key stakeholders, legal departments and suppliers for value for money
- Monitors contractors performance for the good of the Bank
- Negotiates with Landlords Caretakers for good upkeep of the rented premises
- Liaise with other property managers for sales in the event of the Bank wanting to dispose any of its asset
- Negotiates for fair market commission on sales with property Agents
- Recommends for litigation to non performing tenant
- Assists in the hiring of contractors
- Acts as an ambassador for the Bank
- Conducts periodic property inspections to ensure quality

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- Real Estate Management Professional qualification
- 3-5 years relevant experience
