Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect data on Work Programmes and Organisational Projects on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators.
- Assist in the development of the Work Programmes and the Active Projects Processing Schedule (APPS) and keeping them updated.
- Scheduling of projects targets and timelines
- Identifying Project targets in terms of inputs, outputs and main activities
- Following up implementation targets and variations from targets
- Drafting of analytical reports on project implementation targets versus actual achievements.
- Use of various planning and monitoring tools such as Gantt Charts etc. for analysis and reporting project performance
- Drawing of diagrams to illustrate deviations from plans
- Research, track and update database on national development progress.
- Research and follow up through monitoring of the organisation
- Carry out other administrative duties such as Filing, processing payments and Coordinating of internal and external meetings involving ESMU
Qualifications and Experience
- At least a degree in Business Studies, Statistics, Economics or Development studies from a reputable university.
- One of the subjects studied should include project management, evaluation and monitoring.
- Evidence of practical application of project management IT system
- A good practical understanding of the project management systems
- Hands on experience in using computer software’s in project management
- Hands on experience in using statistical tools
- Proficiency in computers and web-based research
- A Master’s degree or Post Graduate qualification in project management will be an added advantage.
