Research Expert in Strategy and Performance Monitoring

<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collect data on Work Programmes and Organisational Projects on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators.</li> <li>Assist in the development of the Work Programmes and the Active Projects Processing Schedule (APPS) and keeping them updated.</li> <li>Scheduling of projects targets and timelines</li> <li>Identifying Project targets in terms of inputs, outputs and main activities</li> <li>Following up implementation targets and variations from targets</li> <li>Drafting of analytical reports on project implementation targets versus actual achievements.</li> <li>Use of various planning and monitoring tools such as Gantt Charts etc. for analysis and reporting project performance</li> <li>Drawing of diagrams to illustrate deviations from plans</li> <li>Research, track and update database on national development progress.</li> <li>Research and follow up through monitoring of the organisation</li> <li>Carry out other administrative duties such as Filing, processing payments and Coordinating of internal and external meetings involving ESMU</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least a degree in Business Studies, Statistics, Economics or Development studies from a reputable university.</li> <li>One of the subjects studied should include project management, evaluation and monitoring.</li> <li>Evidence of practical application of project management IT system</li> <li>A good practical understanding of the project management systems</li> <li>Hands on experience in using computer software&rsquo;s in project management</li> <li>Hands on experience in using statistical tools</li> <li>Proficiency in computers and web-based research</li> <li>A Master&rsquo;s degree or Post Graduate qualification in project management will be an added advantage.</li> <li>7 years experience</li> </ul>
