Transport Manager

<p>Main Duties:</p> <p><strong>Human Resources and Development</strong></p> <ul> <li>Facilitates de-briefs and brief meetings with drivers on trip turn-around and fuel consumption.</li> <li>Manages drivers&rsquo; leave days.</li> <li>Ensures the bonus scheme system produces desired results for the company.</li> <li>Ensure that each Driver has a signed TOR and scorecard and that they understand the expectations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Route Management and Proper Utilisation of Transport Resources</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manages costs</li> <li>Ensures 100% distribution vehicle availability on the routes.</li> <li>Ensures that all trucks depart the destined departure points on time (100% departure compliance).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Customer Satisfaction</strong></p> <ul> <li>Attends weekly meetings.</li> <li>Ensures signing off of km and routes done by trucks.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Health and Safety</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensures that work is carried out in a safe manner by complying with all company safety policies, practices, and procedures.</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bsc in Transport and Logistics</li> <li>At least 2 years experience</li> </ul>
