Main Duties:
Human Resources and Development
- Facilitates de-briefs and brief meetings with drivers on trip turn-around and fuel consumption.
- Manages drivers’ leave days.
- Ensures the bonus scheme system produces desired results for the company.
- Ensure that each Driver has a signed TOR and scorecard and that they understand the expectations.
Route Management and Proper Utilisation of Transport Resources
- Manages costs
- Ensures 100% distribution vehicle availability on the routes.
- Ensures that all trucks depart the destined departure points on time (100% departure compliance).
Customer Satisfaction
- Attends weekly meetings.
- Ensures signing off of km and routes done by trucks.
Health and Safety
- Ensures that work is carried out in a safe manner by complying with all company safety policies, practices, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bsc in Transport and Logistics
- At least 2 years experience
