Systems Developer

<p>Main Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Analyses system requirements to meet business objectives.</li> <li>Develops applications that translates agreed specifications in to a production environment.</li> <li>Prepares general and detailed software designs.</li> <li>Plans and executes testing and implementation of systems.</li> <li>Tests and modify systems to ensure they operate reliably.</li> <li>Maintains the system by correcting non-conforming programs.</li> <li>Modifies existing programs to meet changing business requirements.</li> <li>Researches on new technologies to assist in maintaining efficient systems.</li> <li>Establishes project plans and project management guidelines and support their implementation.</li> <li>Fault finding, diagnosis and fixing of bugs.</li> <li>Develops system documentation and user manuals.</li> <li>Trains end users on how to use deployed systems.</li> <li>Assists IT manager in developing the section strategy.</li> <li>Executes change requests as required by the business.</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/IT</li> <li>Professional Certification in Database Management, Programming will be an added advantage.</li> <li>At least 2 years post qualification work experience.</li> </ul>
