Information Security Manager is responsible for protecting the organization’s computers, networks and data against threats, such as security breaches, computer viruses or attacks by cyber-criminals and build awareness of security issues throughout the organization as well as develop policies that encourage secure working and protect data.
Responsible all governance, Compliance and risk control related functions in line with requisite frameworks and policies
Qualifications:
A Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Science, Statistics, or related field
Certification in Security / Protection/Privacy will be an added advantage
At least 3 years progressive experience in computing and Information security and Governance, including experience with Internet technology and security issues.
Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing, auditing, risk analysis, business resumption planning, and contingency planning.
Hands-on experience and troubleshooting and problem solving on end user tools, networks and other services accessible through the corporate network
Excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards, including Active Directory, Group Policies, Core Switching/Routing, SSL/IPSec, SAN, ISO27001, COBIT, NISP8000-53, Virtualization, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, databases.
