The Position
The Graduate Trainee will report to the Finance Manager and undertakes the following key roles;
- Transaction input and processing.
- General financial accounting (bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, journal adjustments, month end reporting).
- Manage tax administration (PAYE, VAT, INCOME TAX and WHT).
- Participation in client projects, handling financial aspects of projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completed your first degree in the years 2018/2019.
- A degree in Business Studies majoring in Finance, Bachelor of Finance, or degree in Banking and Finance with a degree class 2.1 and above.
- Clean Class 4 driver’s license is a must (please attach copy of license in your application).
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Pride in producing accurate and timely work.
- Problem solving skills, high attention to detail and system orientated.
- The ability to multitask and working in a complex environment
- The ability to be a strong and effective communicator with a variety of stakeholders
- Excellent presentation skills.
- An aptitude in analyzing data to provide business insights.
