<p>The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining food safety and quality management systems within a wet production environment processing beef and chicken. The role ensures full compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards while driving continuous improvement across the plant.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and manage all food safety and quality assurance systems within the wet production plant</li><li>Ensure compliance with local and international food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC, GMP, SOPs)</li><li>Oversee raw material, in-process, and finished product quality for beef and chicken operations.</li><li>Manage audits (internal, external, regulatory, and customer) and close out corrective actions</li><li>Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and environmental controls in wet processing areas</li><li>Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality incidents</li><li>Train and coach production teams on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards</li><li>Manage QA documentation, records, specifications, and traceability systems</li><li>Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to embed quality at every stage</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Minimum Requirements</h3><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field</li><li>Minimum <strong>5 years’ experience </strong>in Quality Assurance within a <strong>wet food production environment</strong></li><li>Proven experience with <strong>beef and/or poultry processing</strong></li><li>Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety legislation, and audit processes</li><li>Experience managing QA teams in a high-volume production environment</li><li>Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Key Competencies</h3><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Food safety leadership in wet processing environments</li><li>Regulatory and audit readiness</li><li>&nbsp;Continuous improvement mindset</li><li>&nbsp;Strong communication and training capability</li><li>Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced operation</li></ul>
